During the PAX East – Evolving Azeroth panel, Blizzard announced a new Game Mode coming to WoW at some point in the future! This future experiment will be developed similarly to Plunderstorm – a game mode in the WoW client, but separate from the primary game.

Blizzard confirmed that this upcoming game mode will not be a Battle Royale, like Plunderstorm. Instead, it will have a vibe that is more similar to a “scary story.
